In 1982, California Heritage Insurance Services began in business formally named " 4 Less Insurance Services Incorporated in Santa Cruz, Ca. We began solely insuring California's "Hard to place" drivers. In 1996, the business was relocated to the Central Coast and has been a trusted name in the community.

In 2008 , the company came under management by its current CEO and CFO Daniel and Megan Zuniga. Daniel and Megan had a strong insurance background and had managed their family's insurance agency for many years. As a husband and wife team, they have managed to keep the small "family-owned business" feeling in the corporation.

In 2009, as our customer base began to grow much larger than ourselves, we wanted to ensure our customers were still receiving the attention they require in order to feel comfortable with our stability. We knew we would need an effective qualilty assurance and customer satisfaction plan. To head this up we hired Brenda Covarrubias to be the Director of Customer Services. Under her supervision, our agents and employees are guided towards goals of compliance, error reduction and our goal of complete customer satisfaction.

In 2010, 4 Less Insurance Services acquired Del Paso Insurance Services. Nestled in the small town of Paso Robles, Del Paso Insurance began in business almost 30 years prior and was started by the mayor of Paso Robles at that time.They have always been well-known and well-received in their local community.

In 2011, we gained ownership of JS Hall Insurance Services of Santa Maria. Sharon Dias and Laura Frias are indispensable assets to our company and have brought many years experience to our team.

In 2012, as our boundaries have moved much farther away from our home base in Arroyo Grande, we found it necessary to implement uniformity throughout our offices. Joseph Gomez, (previously working as a commercial lines account manager with our agency) was promoted to District Manager and VP of Sales and Marketing. System simplifying and effectiveness are his goals and achievements.

As a final step to formally merge all three companies, we decided to have one set of guidelines and procedures and one image. In October 2012 we began and will continue to operate under the name California Heritage Insurance Services. All three companies will now have access to all programs formally offered individually by each office. We will continue to strive to meet every expectation of our cleints and hope to remain a leader in our market.
